About the Role

As a Client Care Coordinator at a shelter for families with children, you will help families in crisis by providing support for mental health, domestic violence, and substance abuse. You will also work with children who have experienced trauma and may have special needs, and help strengthen each family's resilience. This role involves completing psychosocial assessments and participating in a multidisciplinary team approach to ensure positive outcomes for families, while also providing supervised clinical hours for career advancement.

Requirements

  • Current LMSW or LMHC license.
  • Compassion and respect for parents and children experiencing homelessness.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, emotional/behavioral health, mental health, parent-child relationship family dynamics, and diagnostic classification.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required.
