About the Role
As a member of our clinical team, you will work under the supervision of our physician principal investigators and clinical nurse manager on the conduct of pharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials in accordance with FDA regulations and GCP guidelines. You will provide mentoring, direction, and guidance to clinical research coordinators and facilitate the informed consent process, administer screening procedures, perform data entry, and maintain regulatory binders.
Responsibilities
- IV placement, initiation and management of IV infusions per sponsor provided protocol
- Assist with difficult phlebotomy and IV placement for phlebotomy
- Administration of subcutaneous or intramuscular injections
- Medical record review
- Assist with collection of AEs, concomitant medications, medical history
- Timely reporting of Serious Adverse Events and follow up
- Medical support on site for emergency situations
- Willingness to commute to two locations in New York City area
- Uphold GCP
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license in New York State required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
- 2+ years of experience as a nurse preferred
- Previous clinical research experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness and ability to travel to both New York City office locations
- Recent bedside experience
