About the Role
Join Prescient's growing Competitive Strategy Practice as a Senior Consultant, applying your expertise to strategy consulting projects within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. You will work with global clients across the full product life cycle, delivering insights and strategic implications to enable confident business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of projects addressing clients’ strategic business questions, ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to account planning by identifying opportunities to add value and maintaining strong working relationships with client contacts.
- Support proposal development, background research, and scoping discussions.
- Manage discrete workstreams and day-to-day project activities, including research, data analysis, synthesis of insights, client interaction, and presentation delivery.
- Participate in client meetings, support the communication of findings, and collaborate with project leadership to ensure best-in-class client service.
- Leverage expertise in therapeutic, clinical, and commercial areas, sharing emerging insights and supporting Analysts.
- Attend relevant conferences to gather insights, engage with experts, and synthesize learnings.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting junior team members and maintaining high standards of insights.
Requirements
- Relevant experience within the biopharmaceutical consulting, healthcare strategy, or related client-services environment.
- Competitive intelligence experience is strongly preferred.
- Consistently produce high-quality deliverables and contribute effectively to project outcomes.
- Successfully manage client relationships through clear communication and strong stakeholder alignment.
- Solid foundational knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry, especially clinical development.
- Clear and confident communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Strong learning agility to adapt to rapid change and new situations.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms.
