About the Role
The Technology Innovation team supports clients in shaping and delivering technology-enabled transformation to improve business performance, increase transparency, reduce risk, and unlock measurable value from technology, data, and AI. Our approach combines strategic technology advisory with hands-on delivery support, guiding clients from assessment and roadmaps through implementation and sustainable impact.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in delivering client engagements, taking ownership of major workstreams from problem structuring through analysis, synthesis, and recommendation development.
- Work independently to solve complex problems, manage priorities, and ensure work is rigorous, relevant, and actionable.
- Collaborate closely with clients and senior team members, while also supporting and coaching junior colleagues.
- Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identifying key aspects and directing the focus of junior consultants.
- Effectively plan and execute analysis, identifying core issues to craft suitable recommendations.
- Work side by side with clients and project team members to move projects forward and manage small teams.
- Lead teams through an efficient and effective problem-solving process from initial thought process through convergence on a solution.
- Ensure recommendations are correct, practical, sensible, relevant, and cohesive.
- Provide thought leadership at the strategic level and command of all technical and operational details of execution.
- Develop and scale data, analytics, AI, and GenAI strategies.
- Identify high-value use cases.
- Build data enablement foundations for measurable business impact from advanced technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or with industry experience from a strategy department or inhouse consulting focusing on technology innovation.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions, and present recommendations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Fluency in English and German language.
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to take initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and apply existing ones.
- Creativity to generate novel ideas for client problems.
- Aptitude for analytical work, including analyzing large datasets and identifying key issues in complex challenges.
- Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with talented team members.
