About the Role

We are looking for an experienced accountant who enjoys working independently, has a strong understanding of numbers, and wants to not only book but also understand and help shape financial contexts. You will be responsible for the accounting of various companies of different legal forms and act as a competent contact person for tax advisors and management.

Responsibilities

• Accounting for various companies of different legal forms
• VAT pre-declarations
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as accounting according to HGB
• Recording and management of fixed assets
• Preparations for tax declaration, cooperation with tax advisors
• Participation and processing of project-related tasks in cooperation with management

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, a business administration degree, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, further training as a certified accountant (IHK) or a comparable qualification, as well as experience in the real estate sector
• Several years of professional experience in financial and accounting
• Sound knowledge of HGB accounting and proficiency in dealing with VAT issues
• Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Preferably experience with the accounting of multiple companies or different legal forms
• Confident use of common accounting and ERP systems as well as MS Excel
• A structured, careful, and independent way of working
