About the Role
As Director, Total Rewards, Systems & Analytics at HackerOne, you will own the design and execution of compensation, benefits, HR technology (Workday), and people analytics for a fast-scaling global workforce. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the reward philosophy, HR technology backbone, and people analytics practice for a company trusted by leading organizations.
Responsibilities
- Own HackerOne's global Total Rewards strategy, including compensation structure, pay bands, leveling, equity, and benefits.
- Lead and grow the Total Rewards, People Systems, and People Analytics teams, focusing on scalable systems, strategic delegation, and people development.
- Build the People Analytics practice to provide a single, trusted view of the workforce (headcount, attrition, pay equity, engagement).
- Own the People technology roadmap anchored on Workday, integrating AI-native redesign priorities.
- Manage annual compensation and benefits cycles, including market benchmarking, merit, bonus, and equity planning.
- Operationalize change across the function to support HackerOne's scaling.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and the executive team on pay equity, budget and headcount planning, executive and board compensation, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish data governance, controls, and auditability for compensation and people data.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Total Rewards, compensation, or analytics, including designing and running compensation and benefits programs at scale.
- 5+ years of people-leadership experience, including managing managers or team leads.
- Hands-on ownership of an HRIS (Workday strongly preferred) and the surrounding People technology stack, including data integrity, integrations, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience building People analytics and workforce reporting that executives rely on for decision-making.
- Experience partnering with Finance and Legal on pay equity, compensation cycles, and multi-region compliance.
