About the Role
Under general supervision, performs work of ordinary difficulty and responsibility in cleaning, maintaining, and enforcing safety requirements in one or more small buildings.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of small public buildings.
- Performs office moves.
- Sets up and breaks down tents, chairs, and tables.
- Sweeps, dusts, and mops floors.
- Performs high-speed buffing and waxing.
- Conducts carpet cleaning by bonnet, cold and hot water extraction.
- Performs power washing.
- Gathers and disposes of refuse.
- Cleans and removes snow from walkways.
Requirements
- 2 years of full-time experience in cleaning and maintaining buildings in a large cultural institution or education facility.
- Ability to move 25lbs and lift overhead.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
