About the Role

Under general supervision, performs work of ordinary difficulty and responsibility in cleaning, maintaining, and enforcing safety requirements in one or more small buildings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of small public buildings.
• Performs office moves.
• Sets up and breaks down tents, chairs, and tables.
• Sweeps, dusts, and mops floors.
• Performs high-speed buffing and waxing.
• Conducts carpet cleaning by bonnet, cold and hot water extraction.
• Performs power washing.
• Gathers and disposes of refuse.
• Cleans and removes snow from walkways.

Requirements

• 2 years of full-time experience in cleaning and maintaining buildings in a large cultural institution or education facility.
• Ability to move 25lbs and lift overhead.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
