About the Role
Wingstop Canada is seeking high-performing Shift Leads and emerging restaurant leaders ready to advance to Assistant General Manager. This role offers an opportunity to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experience in a high-volume restaurant, and develop into a future General Manager, with a strong commitment to internal promotion.
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in running all store operations.
- Ensure quality and consistency of food products.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Gain hands-on experience with labor, inventory, scheduling, sales targets, and cost controls.
- Recruit, train, coach, and inspire the team.
- Learn restaurant management, financial performance, and leadership skills.
- Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a Shift Lead/Manager or 1+ year as an Assistant General Manager in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Experience with back-of-house and full-service front-of-house operations is a plus.
- Possess a growth mindset and drive to develop into a future General Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to build a strong, motivated team and create a positive workplace culture.
- Ability to hustle, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, cash handling, or shift management is a strong asset.
