About the Role

The Program Supervisor will assist in managing and supporting the day-to-day operations for multiple schools in the New York area. This role involves assuring overall program quality, conducting observations, fostering positive relationships, meeting compliance requirements, and collaborating with the management team on best practices to create an effective learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and supporting day-to-day operations for multiple schools.
  • Assure overall program quality, operationally and academically.
  • Conduct observations.
  • Foster positive relationships with employees and clients.
  • Meet compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the management team on best practices.
  • Work closely with staff to create effective learning environments.
  • Deliver quality programs to Title I students and families.
  • Build and maintain relationships with instructors/teachers, students, parents, and school administrators.
  • Follow up consistently with instructors/teachers, students, parents, and school administrators.
  • Bring concerns of students, parents, instructors, and school administrators to management's attention.
  • Work as a team to resolve issues or concerns.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, creating and monitoring reports, and updating employee data.
  • Adhere to specific submission schedules.
  • Lift 30 pounds.
  • Navigate multiple school buildings, including stairs.

Requirements

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in public, private or charter education and instruction or counseling preferred.
  • Teaching experience required.
  • Travel within the New York area is required.
  • Personal and reliable transportation required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
  • Oral and written communication skills are clear and persuasive in positive or negative situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Ability to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively engage a diverse group of clients, community partners, and co-workers.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
