About the Role

The School of Public Health and Health Sciences at UMass Amherst is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer in Audiology within the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. This 9-month appointment offers opportunities for summer teaching and an initial two-year term with potential for renewal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Participate in the AuD capstone process.
  • Provide service to the department, university, community, and profession.
  • Participate on committees, projects, and other activities supporting the university, college, and departmental mission.

Requirements

  • Hold a graduate degree in Audiology, Hearing Sciences, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Possess the ability to teach clinically relevant courses.
  • Have a demonstrated record of teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
