About the Role

This high impact role contributes to leadership in cloud transformation across various industry sectors. You will support clients in designing, assessing, and evolving cloud operating models that are automation-first and AI-ready, focusing on how GenAI, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation reshape organizational operations.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on the operational and organisational impacts of cloud transformation and help develop digitally enabled business models underpinned by cloud and data-driven, AI-ready operating models.
  • Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for improvement and translate findings into the design of future-state operating models, service management processes, and organisational structures.
  • Design target cloud operating models, service management frameworks, and organisational structures that reflect client strategic ambitions and cloud maturity.
  • Define future-state processes across service delivery, governance, and operational workflows ensuring designs are practical, measurable, and aligned to automation-first and AI-ready principles.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of cloud operating model transformations, recommending improvements and supporting the introduction of intelligent monitoring and AIOps-aligned practices.
  • Use skills in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping, and organisational design to deliver digitally enabled business outcomes.
  • Support the enabling of automation, intelligent workflows, and AI-assisted operations as part of broader cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Work at all organisational levels to innovate, design, and implement cloud transformations, contributing to practice growth and success.
  • Advise clients on the practical application of large language models, copilot tooling, and agentic AI within cloud operating models.
  • Support clients in understanding AI governance considerations, including data quality and transparency.
  • Contribute to business development through leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, and client pitch contributions.
  • Contribute internally through campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, and practice development.
  • Engage in learning and development activities, including training and certifications.

Requirements

  • Experience in transforming businesses through technology and re-defining client operations.
  • Proven skills and experience in ITIL V4 and/or V5 best practices and frameworks, including Incident, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Desk operations.
  • Hands-on familiarity with GenAI tooling and platforms and an understanding of their integration into cloud operating models and ITSM workflows.
  • Experience of strong interest in agentic AI patterns and how autonomous agents are reshaping IT operations and service delivery.
  • Experience with DevOps principles and practices, including CI, CD, automated testing, IaC, and modern delivery pipelines.
  • Well versed with managing and architecting solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry with a Consulting background.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and enlist support and commitment from peers.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning in the AI space.
  • Experience in business development utilising existing relationships and personal network.
