About the Role
As a Partner on our service counters, you'll demonstrate your knowledge and passion for food, feeling proud of its ethical sourcing and recommending recipes. You'll bring our ethos of passionate Partners serving food lovers to life, building lasting customer relationships and maximizing sales and profit.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for your own food counter ensuring the highest presentation and hygiene standards.
- Stay on top of stock levels, ensuring products are available.
- Work with open food, ensuring all due diligence and health & safety protocols are followed.
- Help reduce food wastage.
- Maintain knowledge of new products and understand Waitrose's food values.
- Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
Skills
- Customer facing role experience
- Catering / hospitality environment experience
- Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch

- Varied hours across seven days to include early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends

Salary/Compensations
- £13.00 (£13.25 After 90 days)
- Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for time worked between 22:00 - 06:00
