About the Role
Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing commercial lines insurance policies (new and renewal) while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a Property & Casualty license and complete Continuing Education.
- Understand and follow the Cross Basic Procedure Manual.
- Understand and follow the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual.
- Use only approved Action Codes in AMS 360.
- Follow up on and complete open suspense items daily.
- Service and sell commercial insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with company personnel.
- Provide quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
- Proactively retain accounts when applicable.
- Stay up-to-date on new insurance products and market/industry trends.
- Understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
- Organize, set, and maintain priorities.
- Collect payment information, upload payments to various company websites, and record activity notes in AMS 360.
- Meet annual sales goals.
- Follow up on all ‘Broker of Record’ letters within your assigned book of business.
- Service an average size book of business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have seven (5-7) years minimum experience handling Commercial Lines Middle Market Accounts.
- Strong written, oral and phone communication skills.
- Working knowledge and/or experience with AMS 360, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams).

- $90,000 - $110,000 annually
