Responsibilities
- Evaluates, plans, and implements occupational therapy evidenced based group and individual treatment sessions
- Documents evaluations and treatment sessions
- Communicates and collaborates with treatment team members and patients regarding progress of treatment
- Performs other duties as assigned/required
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)
- Experience working with people with chronic and acute mental illness in an inpatient hospital setting
- Experience working with people who have mental health with co-occurring substance use disorders
- Experience facilitating Psychiatric Occupational Therapy individual and group treatment sessions
- Experience using Motivational Interviewing skills
- Experience using Sensory Modulation interventions

- The Population Health Division (PHD) provides core public health services for the City and County of San Francisco: health protection, health promotion, disease and injury prevention, and disaster preparedness and response.
- Behavioral Health Services operates in conjunction with SFHN and provides a range of mental health and substance use treatment services.
