About the Role

Alleguard is a leader in Protective Foam Solutions, dedicated to expanding and shaping customer businesses across various industries by addressing supply chain challenges and providing innovative solutions. This role is crucial in supporting financial planning, analysis, and accounting operations to ensure business success.

Responsibilities

Prepare periodic rolling forecasts, partnering with department and plant leaders.
Prepare the monthly management reporting package, including variance analysis.
Analyze manufacturing performance and translate results into actionable recommendations.
Build and maintain product-, customer-, and plant-level margin analysis.
Develop financial models and business cases for various investments.
Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools.
Deliver ad-hoc analysis for leadership and support board and lender reporting.
Calculate monthly commissions for sales representatives.
Maintain schedules for accrued liabilities, prepaid expenses, and asset amortization.
Accrue monthly Capital One expenses and process actual expenses.
Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and assist with month-end closing.
Prepare the trial balance in both CAD and USD.
Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly between U.S. and Canadian entities.
Support the year-end audit by preparing schedules and responding to requests.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Provide ad-hoc assistance on other finance projects and serve as backup.
Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and shorten recurring reporting and close activities.
Maintain and improve the integrity of financial data in Sage 300 and related reporting tools.
Support internal control activities and help document control procedures.
Act as a trusted finance partner to operations, sales, and supply chain.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Accounting background.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and month-end close processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A good team player who collaborates well across departments.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
