About the Role

This role focuses on providing exceptional guest service by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas. You will be responsible for responding to guest requests, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all areas meet company standards for presentation and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
• Prepare and transport cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
• Enter guest rooms following established procedures to ensure access and vacancy.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Replace used linens and terry with clean items.
• Make beds and fold terry.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items.
• Verify the presence and working condition of in-room appliances.
• Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care in guest rooms and hallways.
• Adhere to all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform.
• Protect proprietary information.
• Acknowledge and welcome guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over various surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead, below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an entire work shift.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
