About the Role

As a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler, you will be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain by manually loading trucks with products for customer delivery. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safe work practices and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manually load trucks with products for customer delivery.
• Lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment.
• Stack empty pallets.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the safety culture.

Requirements

• Ability to be MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment.
• Ability and willingness to keep work area clean.
• Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues.
• Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• 3+ months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• If hired as Full-Time, ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need.
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
