About the Role

This role is responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly, from small internal meetings through to large conferences and client events, while providing first-class service and experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the planning and delivery of a wide range of meetings, conferences, hospitality events, and client functions.
  • Working closely with clients, operational teams, chefs, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure every event is delivered to a high standard and meets the client's brief, budget, and expectations.
  • Taking ownership of the entire event process from initial enquiry through to event delivery and post-event review.
  • Balancing multiple priorities, supporting your team, solving problems as they arise, and continually looking for ways to improve the customer experience and drive commercial performance.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and delivering corporate meetings and events in a hospitality or venue environment.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events at the same time.
  • Confidence working with clients and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and event costs.
  • A practical, solution-focused approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Good commercial awareness and a focus on delivering both excellent service and strong financial results.
  • A passion for creating great customer experiences and constantly looking for ways to improve them.
  • An understanding of sustainability and how it can be incorporated into event delivery.
  • Enjoys taking ownership, leading from the front, and being part of a team that delivers exceptional events every day.
