About the Role
The Investment Product and Platform team is responsible for curating the investment product offering and enhancing the investment platforms of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management to improve advisor capabilities and client outcomes. As an Associate on this team, you will contribute to helping clients achieve their financial goals and improving the day-to-day experience of advisors, gaining exposure to a variety of investment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work across different lines of business and client channels including digital, remote, branch, and office-based.
- Conduct research and analysis on the competitive landscape in wealth management, identifying best-in-class competitors and secular trends.
- Assist in developing the business case, strategic vision, roadmap, governance framework, and success metrics of relevant opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support implementation of initiatives that deliver innovative and transformational change.
- Translate advisor and client feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Develop subject matter expertise across the investment products and platforms that we support and serve as a trusted resource for cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in financial services or management consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018 you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) is required or must be obtained within 120 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop data-driven recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in investment products and wealth management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
