About the Role

Provide waste and compliance coordination for environmental waste management. Join a global network of skilled engineers, scientists, and specialists dedicated to creating a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, oversee, and schedule waste transportation and disposal subcontractors.
  • Perform weekly RCRA Hazardous waste inspections.
  • Conduct filed EHS activities.
  • Perform waste characterization sampling.
  • Make solid waste determinations per RCRA regulations.
  • Create waste profiles with various TSDFs.
  • Manage waste requests in accordance with client contracts.
  • Provide waste compliance and coordinator support to internal staff and external clients.
  • Input project data using a customized database to develop client reports.
  • Coordinate with GHD staff performing waste management and disposal coordination.
  • Review and prepare accurate waste shipping documentation, including analytical requirements, profiles, and manifests.
  • Proactively communicate with clients during all phases of waste projects.
  • Oversee project accounting, including proposal development, cost estimates, and purchase orders for waste transportation and disposal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related science field (preferably chemistry/biology/environmental science).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience.
  • United States EPA RCRA, TSCA, and DOT regulatory knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
