About the Role
Epsilon is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build innovative and secure data solutions for social media, search, and digital ads within a Big Data environment. You will process terabytes of data weekly, solve complex problems using predictive analytics and cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to ongoing cloud migration efforts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex data solutions for high-volume applications in the cloud.
- Assist with the ongoing migration of applications to the cloud.
- Create reusable output and processes for implemented solutions.
- Ensure test coverage to support continuous integration and drive code quality.
- Utilize agile and DevOps methodologies to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similarly related field.
- Strong development practices with experience writing and testing code.
- At least one year of professional software development experience using Java, Python, or both to build applications.
- Experience with SQL and relational database environments.
- Experience working in a Unix environment, including writing Unix Shell Scripts.
- Ability to own a problem through to completion while also contributing to team success.
- Capability to perform best work in a team setting and autonomously.
