About the Role

Epsilon is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build innovative and secure data solutions for social media, search, and digital ads within a Big Data environment. You will process terabytes of data weekly, solve complex problems using predictive analytics and cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to ongoing cloud migration efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex data solutions for high-volume applications in the cloud.
  • Assist with the ongoing migration of applications to the cloud.
  • Create reusable output and processes for implemented solutions.
  • Ensure test coverage to support continuous integration and drive code quality.
  • Utilize agile and DevOps methodologies to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similarly related field.
  • Strong development practices with experience writing and testing code.
  • At least one year of professional software development experience using Java, Python, or both to build applications.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database environments.
  • Experience working in a Unix environment, including writing Unix Shell Scripts.
  • Ability to own a problem through to completion while also contributing to team success.
  • Capability to perform best work in a team setting and autonomously.
  • Desire to grow a career with a great company.
