About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder. As an essential part of the treatment team, you will deliver specialized 1-on-1 treatment in a center-based setting, partnering with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role offers the opportunity to provide life-changing treatment to children, with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with clients to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor treatment plan progress and effectiveness.
  • Support BCBAs in training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
  • Physically keep up with clients, involving standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Perform other tasks as outlined by the BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities preferred; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
