About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians (BT's) to provide 1-on-1 ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorder in home-based settings. This role is crucial in delivering life-changing treatment, and we provide comprehensive training for those with the passion to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with clients in their homes to implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect data to monitor client progress and treatment plan effectiveness, reporting findings.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
  • Physically keep up with clients, involving activities like standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Perform any other tasks outlined by the BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
