About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians (BT's) to provide 1-on-1 ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorder. Our BT's work in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to deliver life-changing treatment in home-based settings. We provide comprehensive training and support for those with the passion to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically keep up with clients, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling
  • Perform any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
