About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will use technology to document observations and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and authorized guests.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.

Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
