About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology workplace.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience are preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
