About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to join our team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to business leaders and employees across the UK, providing strategic and operational HR support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong employee relations expertise, a thorough understanding of UK employment law, and the ability to work independently while managing a broad range of HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to shape people priorities, strengthen organisational effectiveness and deliver commercially focused HR solutions.
- Lead complex employee relations matters, providing confident, pragmatic advice on performance, grievance, disciplinary and workplace issues.
- Act as a trusted UK employment law expert, ensuring compliance and supporting restructures, consultations and organisational change.
- Use workforce insights to support recruitment, succession, compensation and key people decisions.
- Coach and influence leaders on people strategy, team effectiveness and workforce challenges.
- Collaborate across local and global HR teams to deliver core people initiatives, annual HR cycles and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex employee relations matters.
- Proven ability to advise, influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation.
- Confident working independently, managing competing priorities and operating in complex environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience within a multinational, matrixed or geographically dispersed organisation advantageous.
