About the Role

Lead the delivery of business-critical technology projects across HCA Healthcare UK, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery. Work closely with technical teams, senior stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, quality, budget, and timescales. You'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, helping to improve lives on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish project mandates and acceptance criteria.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and governance documentation.
Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers to ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyse business requirements and advise on scope, solutions, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide regular project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and governance groups.
Build strong relationships across IT, operational teams, and business functions to support successful project outcomes.
Support the delivery of strategic initiatives that strengthen and enhance HCA UK's technology landscape.
Reporting oversight of Service Line Portfolios within ITG to ensure alignment with PMO delivery and prioritisation frameworks.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering complex IT projects, including applications, infrastructure, or enterprise technology initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders, technical teams, and external suppliers.
Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and governance frameworks, with experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
