About the Role
This role encompasses both investor relations and corporate communications for Perella Weinberg. Responsibilities include supporting engagement with the investment community by developing and communicating the Firm's financial performance, strategy, and value creation narrative. It also involves partnering with senior management and finance for earnings, investor engagement, and market positioning. Additionally, the role will help develop and execute internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged, and external communications to support the business and enhance the Firm's reputation. The position reports to the Executive Director, Firm Strategy, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications and collaborates closely with the CEO's office, Finance, and business leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the quarterly earnings cycle, including drafting and coordinating earnings releases, preparing supporting materials, assembling Q&A, and preparing earnings scripts and investor presentations.
- Maintain the investor relations website, ensuring accurate and timely posting of filings, releases, presentations, and governance materials.
- Manage investor data and surveillance workstreams, including sell-side research, consensus estimates, peer disclosure, shareholder register movements, and market data analysis.
- Prepare summaries and stock updates for leadership.
- Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows, and participate in these events as appropriate.
- Produce board reporting on investor sentiment, register movements, and market performance.
- Manage investor relations vendors and platforms.
- Support acquisition-related investor materials.
- Contribute to firm-level strategic initiatives, including competitor and peer analysis, market positioning, and internal strategy materials.
- Contribute to integration and positioning communications for acquisitions and new business lines.
- Draft firmwide communications for the CEO and senior leadership, including emails, town hall scripts, and video remarks.
- Draft and prepare press releases for senior hire and promotion announcements, transaction announcements, and corporate news.
- Prepare talking points, briefing notes, and Q&A documents for media appearances, industry conferences, and internal forums.
- Maintain the corporate communications calendar and coordinate messaging timing and content with relevant departments.
- Support the review and approval of external communications and collateral for accuracy and disclosure.
- Manage the release of internal transaction announcements.
- Partner with Marketing & Design for collateral production.
- Support the preparation of materials for internal leadership forums.
- Support the management of inbound media inquiries and maintain relationships with journalists and external agency partners.
- Track and report on media coverage of the firm, its people, and transactions.
- Maintain a coverage log with regular summaries for leadership.
- Help maintain crisis and issues-management materials and support their use.
- Coordinate interviews for senior leadership with agencies and help maintain an executive positioning plan.
- Own copy and content for the corporate website, partnering with Marketing & Design and external brand agencies.
- Own and maintain the firm's intranet content and support ongoing refreshes.
- Manage the firm's LinkedIn presence, including content calendar, copy writing, and proposing content.
- Own firm boilerplate and factual assertions to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Manage partner and employee biographies and headshots.
- Maintain the firm's Wikipedia entry and other external reference sources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in an investor relations and communications role at a financial services firm or a communications/public relations agency.
- Familiarity working with investors and sell-side analysts.
- Candidates from investment banking or equity research with demonstrated writing strength will also be considered.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone appropriately.
- Extremely strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and market-sensitive information.
- Comfort engaging with senior individuals across the firm, including the executive team.
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across corporate functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Working familiarity with website content management systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Experience supporting a public company through an earnings cycle, including disclosure obligations, Regulation FD, and earnings release mechanics.
- Analytical capability, including comfort reading financial statements, working with data, and building quantitative analysis.
- Working knowledge of investor relations platforms and disclosure workflows (e.g., Workiva, Nasdaq, GlobeNewswire, Notified).
