About the Role

This 11-week, onsite summer internship at Tractor Supply Company's Distribution Center in Frankfort, NY, is designed for students pursuing a career in Human Resources. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced distribution environment, supporting HR programs and initiatives while working alongside experienced leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the communication and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, employment practices, and applicable regulations.
• Partner with HR leaders to support Team Member questions and workplace matters.
• Assist with analyzing workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics.
• Support recruiting activities for hourly and technical positions.
• Assist with coordinating and facilitating training and development activities.
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
• Partner with HR and Operations leaders on safety-related initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives focused on improving processes and the Team Member experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; rising seniors preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Distribution Center environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to relocate to and reside in the Frankfort, NY area for the duration of the internship.

Skills

• Demonstrated interest in Human Resources, operations, or Distribution Center environments.
• Ability to analyze information and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
