About the Role

The Contingent Workforce Operations Manager enables operational excellence, workforce technology, and governance for Autodesk's global contingent workforce program. This role serves as the operational backbone, leading SAP Fieldglass operations, supporting global program expansion, strengthening governance, and improving work delivery through optimization, automation, and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Manager and regional Program Managers to operationalize contingent workforce priorities across the global program.
  • Lead operational workstreams supporting global program expansion, technology implementations, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive continuous redesign of operational workflows by combining business process improvement, automation, AI capabilities, and technology enhancements to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.
  • Support operational readiness for new countries, workforce models, and evolving program capabilities.
  • Own operational administration and continuous optimization of SAP Fieldglass and supporting contingent workforce technologies.
  • Lead platform optimization, testing, release coordination, user enablement, and continuous enhancement of SAP Fieldglass.
  • Evaluate emerging platform capabilities, including AI-powered functionality, to improve operational effectiveness, governance, and user experience.
  • Manage operational execution of SAP Fieldglass controls and partner with Internal Audit to maintain SOX compliance and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering to support platform enhancements, integrations, and technology roadmaps.
  • Develop operational dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that provide visibility into program health and operational performance.
  • Translate operational data into actionable recommendations that improve workforce decisions, program adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering and analytics teams to improve data quality and AI readiness across contingent workforce operations.
  • Support workforce visibility initiatives through reliable operational data and reporting.
  • Continuously improve operational capabilities by combining systems thinking, workflow optimization, automation, and AI to simplify work and improve workforce operations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, MSP partners, and regional Program Managers to support consistent global program execution.
  • Support MSP operational governance, issue resolution, and service performance.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, knowledge assets, and standardized guidance that support employee enablement and AI-assisted operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for contingent workforce systems, operational processes, and governance while continuously improving the end-user experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce operations, HR technology, procurement operations, business systems, program management, or related operational roles.
  • Experience administering or implementing a Vendor Management System (SAP Fieldglass preferred; Beeline or similar VMS accepted).
  • Experience leading cross-functional operational or technology implementation projects.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking with the ability to understand how technology, governance, suppliers, data, and operational workflows interact across the contingent workforce lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting global contingent workforce programs.
  • Experience partnering with Engineering, Internal Audit, or enterprise business systems teams.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls, audit activities, or regulated operational processes.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting, and operational analytics.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, user enablement, reporting, and workforce outcomes.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations or global program rollouts.
  • Experience managing enterprise operational capabilities with a continuous improvement or product mindset.
