About the Role

Stock Associates are critical to the success of our stores. As a Stock Associate, it’s your job to organize inventory and create safe and efficient stock areas. You partner closely with the Stock Lead to receive and merchandise items to ensure that our customers have the product they want when they want it. As a Stock Associate, you operate as part of dynamic team and you cooperate to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, pick, count, and distribute products and materials to meet store needs.
  • Receive and verify shipments, handling discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Assemble, pack, and ship merchandise transfers between retail locations or distribution centers.
  • Follow stock processes and policies, maintain an orderly stock room, and practice safety and security measures.
  • Control damaged merchandise or mis-mate inventory according to company standards.
  • Replenish and display product on the sales floor according to Visual Merchandising standards.
  • Greet customers, direct them to products, answer questions, and provide product knowledge.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and team members, promoting the store and brand image.
  • Report to work on time and notify management in advance of lateness or absence.

Requirements

  • One to two years of retail store management preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to team members and customers.
  • Excellent team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
