About the Role
The Imaging Technologist is responsible for preparing and executing various procedures, greeting patients and staff, assisting physicians, assessing patient condition, producing quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards, specifically covering CT imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute various procedures.
- Warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary.
- Assess patient condition.
- Produce good quality radiographic images.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology.
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification (Preferred).
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification - CT (Preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience (Preferred).
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
