About the Role
This is a full-time outpatient Physical Therapist position offering 4 10-hour days per week, providing 3 days off. The organization is ranked in the Top 30 Rehab Hospitals in the Nation by US News and World Report.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Integrate patient management elements including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions to maximize functional outcomes.
- Formulate comprehensive treatment programs by evaluating patient history, condition, impairments, disability, and functional status.
- Assess patient rehabilitation needs across the continuum of care and provide appropriate disposition, equipment, education, and treatment recommendations.
- Document treatments and patient progress according to professional and department policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree.
- Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
