About the Role

School aides support the operation of the school by performing various clerical and student support activities, focusing on creating a welcoming, safe environment and ensuring smooth school operations.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties such as copying, faxing, filing, and distributing materials.
  • Purchases materials for special events and school activities.
  • Answers telephones and performs light reception work.
  • Makes phone calls to parents, companies, or other stakeholders.
  • Completes inventories and stocks supplies.
  • Welcomes teachers, students, and parents.
  • Performs breakfast, lunch, and dismissal duty.
  • Organizes and supervises games and recreational activities during recess.
  • Performs bus duty, including assisting with monitoring students boarding buses.
