About the Role
The Building Systems Team develops the GROPYUS building system and enables project implementation by connecting physical and digital products and processes. As part of this team, you will be involved in product development, the value chain, and development processes of construction projects in close cooperation with other teams within the BST and other departments at Gropyus.
Responsibilities
- Project development in the service phase LP5
- Implementation of state-of-the-art architectural and technical solutions in our timber residential building product
- Continuous and controlled further development of the product within the scope of series and change management
- Coordination with specialist disciplines such as engineering, building services, building physics, acoustics, fire protection, and energy design
- Contribution to the improvement of our digital value chain in close cooperation with the product and technology teams
- Design considering user-centricity, DfMA, sustainability, and costs
- Independent prioritization and coordination of system development tasks considering deadlines, dependencies, and strategic company goals
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of project experience in technical detail development/LP5 in Germany with a focus on technical detail development (especially building envelope and shell)
- Knowledge of relevant German building regulations and standards
- Experience in timber construction
- Experience with building classes 4 and/or 5
- Fluent English skills
- Good German skills
- Experience in residential construction
- Experience with Revit
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Rhino is an advantage
