About the Role
Canduct Industries is seeking a Customer Production Coordinator in London, ON, to act as a liaison between customers and the production team, providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Maintains customer records by updating account information.
- Receives and creates customer orders by gathering, analyzing, and inputting data into the Company’s Visual ERP system.
- Reads, analyzes, and organizes customers Bill of Materials and drawings.
- Prepares purchase requisitions for purchased components.
- Works closely with the Planning team to obtain manufacturing due dates and prepares product work orders.
- Works with Production Supervisors, Lead Hands, and Shipping department to ensure customer needs are met.
- Monitors and advises customers of order status, delivery times, and shipping status.
- Resolves product or service challenges with the Quality/Production departments by clarifying customer issues/requests, solving the problem, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Keeps records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
- Prepares pre-shipping documents for shipper (manifest list/weights, package specifications, Customer order pricing updates based on shipping weights, etc.).
- Ensures output meets quality standards.
- Performs additional duties as assigned within the department.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to read blueprints is required.
- Production knowledge and computer savvy.
- Intermediate-to-advance Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- A proactive individual with the ability to solve problems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a dynamic team setting.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- English written & verbal communication skills.
