About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Modern Workplace Engineer to join our team and drive our digital workplace transformation. This role involves shaping and optimizing how we work and collaborate using Microsoft 365, modern device management, collaboration tools, and digital experience monitoring. You will operate confidently at the platform level, owning configuration, administration, governance, integration, and continuous improvement across various technologies to ensure a secure, reliable, and seamless employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Workspace environment, including user management, access controls, security, collaboration services, and platform governance.
  • Own Amazon Connect to continuously improve the platform and optimize contact flows, routing, queues, and permissions, acting as a technical SME.
  • Shape and evolve Jira and Confluence through effective workflows, permissions, schemes, automation, integrations, and governance.
  • Manage and evolve Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Viva, and related services).
  • Design, configure, and maintain device lifecycle management through Microsoft Intune and JAMF, driving a secure, zero-touch approach.
  • Own and optimize digital user experience using DEX tooling to monitor, analyze, and improve end-user digital experience.
  • Implement automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, and other M365 admin tools.
  • Partner with the Security team to embed identity protection, conditional access, DLP, and compliance policies.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience administering Amazon Connect, with the ability to configure, support, and optimize contact center capabilities.
  • Proven Atlassian administration experience across Jira and Confluence, including workflows, schemes, permissions, automation, governance, and platform configuration.
  • Demonstrable Google Workspace administration experience, including identity, access, collaboration services, security controls, user lifecycle management, and platform governance.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Intune & JAMF for device and application management.
  • Good understanding of identity and access management with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and MFA.
  • Experience implementing collaboration governance, lifecycle management, and Teams/SharePoint structure.
  • Experience implementing or managing DEX tooling (e.g., Nexthink, Lakeside SysTrack, or similar).
  • Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Windows Autopilot and hybrid join scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • A passion for enabling people through technology and delivering an exceptional workplace experience.
  • Broad technical ownership across modern workplace and SaaS platforms.
  • Strong security awareness and the ability to implement compliant, secure workplace practices.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to automate manual processes.
  • Experience working in small, agile technology teams.
  • Strong understanding of IT security practices and experience working alongside security teams.
  • A hands-on approach to infrastructure modernization, with an emphasis on monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to operate independently and take initiative.
