About the Role

As a Therapist with THRIVE Wellness and Recovery, you'll join a team that believes in meeting people where they are, celebrating progress over perfection, and creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. You'll work with the modalities that best fit your clients, the flexibility of hybrid scheduling options, and the support of a multidisciplinary team. Your time is focused on building meaningful therapeutic relationships, typically providing 25–35 client sessions each week, including one group session, with 45-minute appointments. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 80–90 active clients, working alongside medical providers, case managers, peers, and fellow clinicians to deliver truly person-centered, trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, diagnoses, and provides psychotherapy for the prevention, and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders to the level of licensure.
  • Develops and implements individualized SMART treatment plans.
  • Consults with multidisciplinary team to discuss assessment, treatment, advocacy and other resources to promote consumer health and wellness.
  • Maintains clinical licensure and continuing education units on annual basis.
  • Referral to other programs and/or agencies, when necessary, to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
  • Facilitates at least one group therapy session per week, when group therapy is offered and as warranted.
  • Adheres to the expectation that schedule is filled, managing caseload effectively and scheduling clients accordingly.
  • Performs outreach to individuals and family members.
  • Provides advocacy services, referrals and links individuals and families with other programs and providers.
  • Completes all routine clinical documentation as per OMH regulations.
  • Attend treatment team, clinical supervision, education, and administrative meetings, functioning as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Provides on-call coverage for daytime and after hour’s crisis program, inclusive of risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Performs clinical supervision as appropriate to credentials.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality of all information managed.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must maintain current valid New York State license through the Department of Education for LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT.
  • At least one (1) year of prior experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.

  • LP $29.81/ hour
  • LMSW/LMHC: $31.25/ hour
  • LCSW: $34.62- $42.31/hour
  • $5,000 sign on bonus
