About the Role

We are hiring a Founder's Associate to work directly with the founders on critical initiatives including hiring, special projects, operations, and fundraising. This role involves owning outcomes end-to-end, solving complex problems, driving execution, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will engage with the scientific aspects of our work within a deeply technical organization.

Responsibilities

• Run hiring rounds end-to-end with the founders and build the pipeline and process behind them.
• Take projects from problem definition to plan, decision, and delivery, managing budget, milestones, and external stakeholders.
• Drive finance, procurement, legal, and HR processes for a growing team.
• Build investor and partner materials, draft grant proposals, and shape public presence.

Requirements

• Hold a high bar on output, working with accuracy and knowing when work is complete.
• Identify needs and drive tasks to completion with limited oversight, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience owning a project with budget and delivery timelines without an established process.
• Reason from first principles and pressure-test conclusions.
• Exercise good judgment and discretion, knowing which calls to make and which to escalate.
• Ability to be trusted with sensitive commercial and internal matters.
• Write documents and build presentations that require no editing.
• Value direct, truth-seeking dialogue.
• AI fluency with independent judgment, accelerating analysis and building operational workflows.
• Strong academic record and ability to work with complex life science topics.
• Thrive in a deeply technical environment.
