About the Role
Join Change Grow Live in London as an Apprentice Rehab and Detox Recovery Worker. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to grow and learn whilst earning. You will play an important part in delivering inclusive, person-centred support, ensuring everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered.
Responsibilities
- Support the recovery team in engaging with people experiencing substance use challenges, providing tailored advice, support, and recovery-focused interventions.
- Build therapeutic relationships and deliver personalised care plans with training and support.
- Work closely with local Social Services Teams and Family Intervention Projects.
- Promote family members involvement to improve outcomes for children.
- Present cases at meetings for Multi-disciplinary discussion where a change in circumstances/behaviour potentially changes the service user's risk profile.
- Review ongoing care and treatment liaising closely with the full range of specialists within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Develop and access ‘recovery resources,’ as well as peer and mutual support groups, to help individuals build their own recovery strategies.
Requirements
- An interest in the social care field, particularly in substance use and recovery.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with IT applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A commitment to personal and professional development.
- A passion for creating positive outcomes.
- Must be either a Camden resident, a former Camden secondary school student, or Camden care experienced.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
