About the Role
A busy family of four is seeking an experienced and professional nanny to provide sole charge care for their two children, aged 2 and 5. The role requires a proactive, reliable individual who can work autonomously and become a long-term part of the family. The position starts as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide sole care for both children, with primary focus on the 2-year-old while the 5-year-old is in kindergarten.
- Ensure the children's safety at all times.
- Handle drop-off and pick-up from kindergarten.
- Organize playdates and activities.
- Prepare and cook healthy meals for the children.
- Manage children's laundry.
- Assist with bathtime and bedtime routines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy household, including encouraging age-appropriate chores with the children.
- Purchase groceries and household supplies weekly.
- Drive children to activities and the park when in Finger Lakes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a nanny.
- Experience working with a child with anxiety and sensory processing disorder.
- Ability to work as a team with parents, maintaining a firm but fair approach.
- Proactive with a strong ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Must be a swimmer.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Seeking a long-term commitment.
- Willingness to travel internationally with the family occasionally.
