About the Role
Bank of America is seeking a Product Manager to develop and manage the end-to-end product life cycle for highly complex products. This role involves conducting market research, determining product pricing, developing strategies, and identifying innovative opportunities to modernize product offerings and deliver a unified customer experience. The Product Manager will ensure product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and business performance for Consumer Credit Card Instant Issuance and Digital Wallet capabilities, driving adoption, activation, engagement, and client satisfaction across the cardholder lifecycle.
- Lead product development and lifecycle management for digital card access, wallet provisioning, onboarding, activation, and first-spend experiences, from concept through delivery and ongoing optimization.
- Partner across Technology, Operations, Digital, Payments, Risk, Fraud, Marketing, and Servicing teams to deliver integrated, client-centric payment experiences and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and optimize product performance through analytics, KPIs, and client insights, leveraging data to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and improve client engagement and operational efficiency.
- Drive client experience and journey enhancements by identifying friction points, incorporating client feedback, and implementing solutions that simplify and strengthen digital payment interactions.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify emerging payment technologies, digital wallet innovations, and strategic opportunities that enhance competitive positioning and future growth.
- Develop executive recommendations and strategic communications that inform investment decisions, roadmap priorities, product performance, and business outcomes for senior leadership.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance by partnering with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Fraud, and Control organizations throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product strategy, digital product management, payments, consumer banking, credit cards, digital wallets, or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving technology, operations, risk, fraud, and customer experience.
- Strong understanding of digital payments, tokenization, mobile wallets, card issuance, activation strategies, and digital client experiences.
- Proven ability to develop business cases, influence executive leadership, and translate strategy into measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leveraging data, analytics, and market insights to drive product decisions and investment priorities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
