About the Role

The BXCI Investment Operations team is seeking a dedicated member to provide operational support and manage daily activities for its Strategic Insurance Clients. This role involves direct interaction with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of client investment and accounting records with a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

  • Build and support an enhanced operations servicing model.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure full understanding of investment portfolios and address inquiries.
  • Address questions and issues across a diverse book of credit investments.
  • Work with internal teams to improve processes and client outcomes.
  • Provide daily oversight of the reconciliation process with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy of insurance clients' records for the monthly close process.
  • Review overdue receivables, suspense accounts, and other items.
  • Work with reconciliation and processing teams to ensure accurate capture of activity in internal systems and client records.
  • Assist with private deal fundings, pipeline management, and client communication for smooth closing of complex private transactions.
  • Oversee daily and monthly reporting, assisting in the development of improved reporting solutions.
  • Work with offshore teams to ensure data accuracy and review output before client delivery.
  • Coordinate responses for ad-hoc client queries, ensuring incoming requests are directed to the appropriate groups.
  • Follow up on pending items and provide responses to clients.
  • Assist in training onshore and offshore colleagues on operational workflows, monthly close activities, reporting oversight, and issue escalation processes.
  • Support accurate and timely servicing of insurance clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ Years Related Experience
  • Strong understanding of Insurance Industry is preferred, including STAT accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Results oriented, deadline driven and resourceful person who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Independent worker / self-starter
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Experience with Insurance Accounting systems a strong plus (Clearwater, PAM, Aladdin)
  • Proven success as a team player
