About the Role
Provide operational and customer service support during evening and weekend pool hours to ensure a safe, clean, and positive experience for all patrons and staff. This non-supervisory role requires strong initiative, effective communication skills, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist lifeguards and aquatic staff with evening operations.
- Support lifeguards and swim instructors during evening and weekend hours.
- Provide coverage for lifeguards and swim instructors as needed.
- Coordinate pool activities and logistics.
- Serve as a point of contact for lifeguards and aquatic staff during evening shifts.
- Monitor pool operations and ensure adherence to safety procedures and policies.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, following established protocols.
- Support opening and closing duties for night shifts.
- Communicate with members, staff, and management to maintain high service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aquatics or pool operations
- Current Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain before start)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Availability to work nights and weekends
