About the Role
This role involves working closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment teams, Technology, and Operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable gathering requirements, analyzing complex issues, working with data, and supporting delivery across the full project lifecycle. Success requires facing business teams, applying an organized and proactive approach, adding value, and continuously developing business knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product owner and business to develop and detail the product backlog in the form of Epics, Features, and Stories.
- Assist business owners and teams in prioritizing work.
- Act as the communication channel between product owners, business owners, and the Agile delivery team.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of system and acceptance testing.
- Undertake JIT analysis and documentation to support sprint activities.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle across different business areas.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business representatives across teams and multiple sites.
- Promote a positive team culture, identify and implement ways to improve teamwork, and build effective relationships throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Skill in collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results to identify patterns and trends in structured and unstructured data sets.
- Ability to apply suitable analytical approaches to requirements discovery, documentation, and solution delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience, with the ability to communicate effectively at an appropriate level and depth for the audience.
- Demonstrable experience in gathering requests and technical specifications.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to review and advise on suitable changes to streamline processes, identifying actual rather than perceived pain points.
- Participate in the definition of cross-team initiatives for new processes, frameworks, or architectures.
- Commitment to and ownership for driving change initiatives or solutions.
- Ability to bring relevant teams together and leverage key stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Risk awareness.
- A thirst for knowledge and curiosity to help solve complex problems with a keen eye for detail.
- A sense of personal responsibility and the drive to own problems; ability to work self-directed and independently.
- Experience with reading and debugging SQL code.
- Understanding of AI-enabled tools, technologies, and practical applications, with the ability to apply them appropriately to enhance productivity, decision-making, or business outcomes.
