About the Role

Lead event production for the non-financial risk portfolio in Asia, including XLoD Global Singapore and the Financial Crime Summit Singapore, as part of the global flagship conference series run by the 1LoD business. You will drive commercial success and delivery excellence across regional programmes, working closely with colleagues producing the Risk Live financial risk events portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure commercial success and grow sponsorship and delegate revenues for conferences.
  • Act as project leader to ensure all aspects of conferences are executed to the highest standard.
  • Understand how events can be deployed to maximise ROI for sponsors and optimise overall experience.
  • Understand sponsors' KPIs and ensure deliverables fulfil their objectives.
  • Develop the fundamental value proposition for attendees and address pressing issues.
  • Create an event that provides the best value to sponsors and delegates through physical and digital channels.
  • Form a programme advisory board and conduct research to understand key industry trends.
  • Draft conference programmes covering key current issues and future challenges.
  • Identify and recruit compelling speakers for each conference programme.
  • Introduce innovative and new formats to promote interactivity.
  • Develop new features for conferences to inject exciting new experiences.
  • Identify and create new revenue streams for conferences in partnership with the marketing services team.
  • Take the lead on client onboarding to ensure clients get the most value out of their sponsorships.
  • Take part in regular internal project meetings to ensure effective communication and timeline management.
  • Own delivery of the non-financial risk portfolio across Singapore.
  • Coordinate with Hong Kong and UK events teams to align programme quality, speaker standards, and commercial offerings.
  • Work alongside the Risk Live financial risk portfolio team to ensure consistency of approach.
  • Identify regional industry trends and sponsor priorities specific to the Asia-Pacific non-financial risk and financial crime community.

Requirements

  • Digitally savvy and able to execute new ideas.
  • Confident handling internal and external clients, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven time management, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, event management software, and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and event performance metrics.
