About the Role
Seeking shuttle drivers to operate passenger vehicles for a safe ride program, transporting students of a local college. This role utilizes software similar to on-demand ride share services, operating company-owned vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patrons politely and assisting them.
- Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
- Opening and closing doors for patrons.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
- Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers, including radio contact with management.
- Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
- Recording passenger counts and trip times.
- Completing necessary paperwork for daily operations.
- Assisting in equipment set up and break down.
- Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
- Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
- Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing.
- Must be at least 20 years old due to insurance regulations.
- A valid DOT Medical card is required.
- Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.

Salary/Compensations
- Non-CDL drivers earn $21/hour to start.
