About the Role

Seeking shuttle drivers to operate passenger vehicles for a safe ride program, transporting students of a local college. This role utilizes software similar to on-demand ride share services, operating company-owned vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patrons politely and assisting them.
  • Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
  • Opening and closing doors for patrons.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers, including radio contact with management.
  • Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
  • Recording passenger counts and trip times.
  • Completing necessary paperwork for daily operations.
  • Assisting in equipment set up and break down.
  • Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
  • Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
  • Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing.
  • Must be at least 20 years old due to insurance regulations.
  • A valid DOT Medical card is required.
  • Background checks and driving tests will be conducted.
