About the Role
Immediate openings for entry level & early career Microbiologists within a beverage manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Document and respond to consumer complaints
- Assist with the weekly microbiological report
- Report any mechanical, raw material or procedural problems to the Quality Manager
- Perform a variety of sample collections and plating of finished products
- Read and interpret microbiological plates
- Participate in short and long term microbiological research projects
- Prepare reagents, standards, and buffer solutions as necessary
- Order laboratory supplies and equipment
- Help maintain the consumer complaint database
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Quality Manager
- Perform miscellaneous projects as needed, including extra sample collections, new product testing, testing consumer samples, changing carbon beds or cleaning reaction tanks in the waterplant
