About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting Medialab’s recruitment efforts. You’ll work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Inclusion, hiring managers, and the wider People team to deliver a smooth, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage day-to-day recruitment activities, a high volume of roles, help attract diverse talent, and provide advice and guidance to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles, ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to take role briefs and provide advice on job descriptions, adverts, and sourcing strategies.
- Manage candidate movement in our ATS by screening applicants, tracking progress, and keeping all our recruitment data clean and up to date.
- Keep track of key recruitment metrics like time-to-hire, candidate conversion, and channel performance, to continuously tweak sourcing approaches.
- Embed competency-based interview frameworks and fair assessment tools to remove bias and elevate hiring standards.
- Spot opportunities to refine the recruitment journey, whether that’s updating email templates, tweaking interview tasks, or testing new sourcing tools.
- Work with the People & Talent Acquisition Administrator to coordinate recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and feedback collection.
- Proactively search for candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
- Develop relationships with passive candidates, keeping them engaged for future opportunities.
- Draft engaging job adverts and recruitment content that reflect Medialab’s culture and values.
- Guide hiring managers on recruitment best practices, market insights, and inclusive hiring techniques.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across all agency departments so team leads see you as a strategic talent partner.
- Use live recruitment data and candidate pipeline reports to keep stakeholders clearly informed on progress, potential bottlenecks, and time-to-fill projections.
- Provide clear, data-informed updates on recruitment progress to hiring teams and the broader People department.
Requirements
- Experience recruiting across typical agency disciplines, including Media Planning & Strategy, Digital Performance (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic), Data Analytics, and Client Services.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition (in-house or agency), preferably within a fast-paced agency or high-growth environment.
- Skilled in navigating ATS platforms and proficient with proactive candidate search tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to manage dynamic, high-volume recruitment loads seamlessly.
